SAN JOSE, Calif., March 2, 2016 – Diablo Technologies is pleased to announce its collaboration with Inspur at the Open Compute Project (OCP) Summit from March 9-10th at the San Jose Convention Center in California. Inspur servers, coupled with Diablo’s Memory1™ DIMMs, expose many terabytes of cost-effective, low-power application memory in a single server. The two companies will showcase an array of solutions for memory-intensive workloads in Booth #C8.
“The combination of Inspur and Memory1 allows customers to do more work with each server, optimizing both application capability and operational efficiency. Traditional constraints on server performance and economics no longer apply,” said Kevin Wagner, Vice President of Marketing at Diablo Technologies. “The transformative value for end users and applications cannot be overstated.”
“We are excited to collaborate with Diablo Technologies at the 2016 Open Compute Project,” said Dolly Wu, General Manager for Datacenter/Cloud at Inspur. “Datacenters around the world can finally take advantage of this new generation of powerful products, and in doing so separate themselves from the competition.”
Memory1 represents a ground-breaking new way to leverage the cost and capacity advantages of flash to provide economical memory for large-scale datacenter and hyperscale customers. Packing four times the capacity of the largest DRAM modules, Memory1 delivers greater capability on fewer servers and lowers datacenter costs by up to 70 percent. Memory1 is ideal for environments that require large memory footprints, such as big data analytics, relational databases and complex web applications.
